I make my own money at school selling some of my art. I recently payed him for a phone charge that I made, and in the handfull of stray coins from my savings bin was a gold dollar. My school has a vending machine filled with healthy snacks, and it gives change in coins only. When there's a dollar amount left from your purchase, it returns the leftover money in dollar coins. So most of the time, kids will buy a snack, then have a bunch of spare dollar coins. I charge at exact dollar amounts, no change, and so alot of times I get paid in dollar coins. So dad takes one look at the gold coin and says: "Are you sure it's yours?" I said, "Yeah. Actually, it is." And he makes up this bullshit story about how he had a gold dollar coin on his dresser that he put in a specific place and that it's gone now. So, I'll post again in a few, I'm gonna go look for this 'coin.'
